A Florida teen is charged with shooting his sister to death during a fight over Christmas presents.

Authorities stated that after a fight over Christmas gifts, a 14-year-old Florida kid shot and killed his sister, only to be shot again a few moments later by his own teenage brother.

According to Pinellas County Sheriff Bob Gualtieri during a press conference, the fight began when the brothers, who are 14 and 15, went shopping on Christmas Eve Sunday with their mother and sister and got into a fight over who was getting more items for Christmas.

Following their shopping trip, the boys, their mother, Abrielle Baldwin, their 23-year-old sister, and Baldwin's two small children—11 months and 6—went to their grandmother's house in Largo, where the fight carried on.

At that moment, the 14-year-old sibling "positioned himself in the doorway, produced his.40-caliber semi-automatic weapon, and aimed it directly at [his brother] and threatened to shoot him in the head, according to Gualtieri.

When the 14-year-old attempted to start a fight with his 15-year-old sibling, his uncle intervened, putting the 14-year-old outside into the driveway area.

That's where he discovered Abrielle with her carrier-wearing 11-month-old child. "You all need to leave that stuff alone," she said to him. You're trying to start it, but why? Christmas is here, Gualtieri declared.

While she was holding her baby in the carrier, the 14-year-old got into an argument with her, using "derogatory" language, and then shot her in the chest, according to Gualtieri. Both her and the baby tumbled, but fortunately, no one was hurt.

After that, the 15-year-old brother went outside, pulled out a semiautomatic handgun with a.45 caliber, yelled, "You shot my motherf------ sister!" and gave the 14-year-old one shot to the stomach, the sheriff's office said.
