Hospitalized woman following vicious assault in Long Beach

 


After being attacked by a man early on Saturday morning in Long Beach, a woman is in critical condition.

Beth Quintana was leaving her job in the vicinity of 25th Street and Cedar Avenue when the event occurred at approximately 4:30 in the morning. According to the Long Beach Police Department, she told them that an unidentified male brandishing a knife had approached her, demanded some of her personal belongings, and then attacked her.

Her roommate claims in a GoFundMe page that Beth sustained bruising to her face, a concussion, a fractured finger, a black eye, and a broken nose.

According to authorities, the suspect left before they could arrive. Beth was sent to a nearby hospital to receive medical attention.

Police said she was unable to verify whether any of her belongings had bee

n taken.

Beth posted on Facebook, saying, "I appreciate all of your prayers." "I managed to take the knife that the guy was holding from him. I battled for my survival and succeeded. I'm not okay right now, but I will be.

The suspect's description remained undisclosed.

According to her roommate, Beth created the GoFundMe to assist her in paying for her medical expenses and unpaid time off from work.
